To start I found what my target audience was going to be and I went with young adults/teens. Anyone interested in hip-hop or tribal beats, Artists looking for beats to use. People that might need background music for either promotion, YouTube/social media videos or television. I chose these types of target audiences as I feel they will respond best to my track and will be more likely to share it with others who might not know of me already. The track fits well into my group project with my group Pluto. The theme for the track will be African/Egyptian infused hip-hop and will hopefully capture this using lots of different drum layers as well as instruments that give off a tribal feel whilst maintaining a solid 808 type beat on top to give it the hip-hop feel. I have used my Apple MacBook Pro for this project. On here I used Logic Pro X production software to create my track as this is the software I am most comfortable using as of now. I also used my midi controller (Komplete Kontrol M32) to write the music as well as my college studios and equipment when there was availability. Overall I am happy with how this project went, I could've completed things a bit quicker if I had been more vocal with my group. Next time I will follow the plans set out by me and my group in order to have everything ready before the deadline. Other than that the process was good and I have made a great end product that fits the album well.
