When going into this song my ideas were space, dark and grime themed. I started with a
simple grime beat and played around with melodies to put on top. I went through a lot of
synths until I finally came across the Spitfires Labs section. I found a very interesting synth
that had an eerie and dark feel. It was ominous and sounded like an alien. I played it on top
of the beat, and it worked perfectly. I put some small reverbs on, and it made UPIA. All in all,
I felt like this track is what the theme of our album is and that is why I am using it. This was
my first grime beat I have ever made, and I think it sounds very good at least for a first
attempt.
